Frank is the most important addition to the Bloom County Universe since Bill the Cat. And I WOULD buy a plush Frank.

And Opus' tribute to Tom P. was far superior to Steve Dallas' tribute to Hef. But you knew it would be.

Frankly, I think you would be hardpressed to find a Bluehead that DOESN'T heart Frank, nowadays.

It would be difficult to overstate how profoundly Bloom County affected me growing up (it ran all through my teens). It affected and influenced everything from my sense of humor to my political leanings, and then some. I have been delighted to have it back, it's been a wonderful comfort and still makes me laugh.

There has been something special and very moving about Mr. Breathed's standout tributes these last couple of years for Bowie, Harper Lee and Mr. Petty.

Thank you Opus. Thank you Frank. Thank you Berke Breathed. Thank you.

I'm late, but also? I kinda find the Frank banner a little creepy? Like that slow-eyed, half-lidded look that some interpret as tender could also be thinking "I'll hide your arms at one end of the basement and your legs behind the fieldhouse..."
