What can brown and furry do for you?

Sean McCarren has been working for UPS for 17 years now and is a proud "driver of the big brown truck," he told BuzzFeed News. One of the greatest perks of his job, he said, is the dogs he meets on his routes. "I wish we could just hang out with the families and their dogs all day, but it's just not feasible," McCarren said. He explained that he and other UPS drivers will often take their work breaks to play with these dogs who run up to their trucks or greet them when they come to people's front doors. Five years ago, McCarren was inspired to start a Facebook group — a community of sorts — for him and other UPS drivers to share photos and videos of their pup friends. He named it UPS Dogs. Sort-of-related previously, in that it is another case of service employees making friends with dogs.

According to my dog, the UPS driver is fabulous, but the Postal carrier can go fuck himself.

Not my dog. Sweet Bindi hated and feared Big Brown. One unfortunate morning we had her in the car heading down the highway right when all the UPS trucks left their central facility. They were all around us...and clearly possessing an intent to harm her human family A 75 lb Australian Cattle dog running laps inside a jeep is both terrifying and hilarious.

Should have named it "What's UPS dogs!"

Those are some very, very Good Dogs and this is A++ quality CuteFilter. Exactly what I needed to quiet the internal screaming rage stroke for while. Thanks!

These are some very happy dogs. The one with all the puppies (where someone commented "Are you delivering in heaven???") feels like an ice cream truck.

My eldest crazeballs Chihuahua hates the UPS and FedEx trucks with a passion bordering on white dwarf intensity. When my wife and I moved into our house, he damn near lost his mind because right next to our house is a mom&pop mailing store that gets multiple daily visits from UPS/Fedex. He's finally chilled out, but I swear it took years before he finally relaxed.

My dad was a UPS driver and got bit by a dog once on his route.

2 years ago in the first week or two we had Teddy (Dachshund / Jack Russell mix rescue dog) he squeezed past me as I was signing for a package, ran down the driveway, and jumped into the Big Brown Truck. He still goes bonkers when he sees a UPS truck on the street.

Based on the headline, I thought this was going to be about the intersection of race and people who pretend to be cartoon animals.

My husband is a postal carrier and he comes home and tells me about the cats he gets to pet on his route. I guess cats are way less territorial about people putting things in the mail slot than dogs.
