I like how the bird stops after each drum break and looks to the camera and is like "ehhhh? ehhh?"

Ours used to sit on my shoulder while I did the dishes and sing "When the Saints Go Marching In". It made for a jolly fun dish time! I miss the li'l bugger.

Every cockatiel hatches knowing the Totoro theme. I am convinced that this is true.

Coo-chan the yellow-crested cockatoo is the absolute master of that move.

Tiels are so underrated. Mine is the best bird I've ever had. Full of personality, but not neurotic like a 'too. Smart and picks up songs and phrases, but not as loud as my folks' Grey. He is just pure sweetness; even when he's grumpy he's cute-grumpy.

ooh yes cockatiel grumpy is so cute. Mine will sometimes be annoyed at me for, I don't know, leaving a feather in the wrong place after a headscratch, and pretend to attack me with a bunch of tiny nips all over my hand that are so soft and gentle they don't hurt at all. He just needs me to understand his displeasure. If he's really steamed he will punctuate each nip with a teeny tiny little squeak and I die of cuteness. Then he flies off in disgust.
He is the best
