Ooh, sweet. Our previous discussion, btw, is here. posted by muckster at 1:12 PM on May 20, 2002
Criminy. To think I researched it out and never found a MeFi discussion. *sigh* It was bound to happen. Consider me DeMeFi'ed. posted by pedantic at 1:18 PM on May 20, 2002
Didn't mean to bust you on a double-post, pedantic. As far as I know, dvdtracks.com is new to MeFi, and I'm grateful you posted it. I just wanted to offer that link for anybody interested in the earlier discussion. No demefiization intended. posted by muckster at 1:40 PM on May 20, 2002
hm... How do I not get any of the movie sound on my recording? Am I just supposed to know the movie so well I watch it with sound off, or do I use headphones? Or what? posted by ODiV at 2:32 PM on May 20, 2002
The easiest way is probably to write it noting the timecode for each discussion point, record it in segments according to the timecode, then edit those segments together. In this case you wouldn't even be watching the movie when you recorded your commentary. posted by kindall at 5:37 PM on May 20, 2002
