The Secret Garden - Albert Richards is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Michigan. He has been creating hauntingly beautiful images of flowers by radiography for decades now.

These have been around for so long, but I've never seen them before. Thanks for the link, the images of the flowers are exquisite.

Wow. Those are so beautiful. I can't decide if I'm getting all teary-eyed because they're so stunning, or because I've been trying to see the 3-D lily for the last fifteen minutes.

The first thing I thought of was clouds of chiffon. And then fairy wings. They're so beautiful.

The 3-d lily jumps off the page at you, if you can unfocus your eyes enough. It isn't easy to do, though.

I have a lazy eye, so I can rarely see these things without a real stereograph. I've been told if I can see the "hot dog" trick with the fingers it's a cinch, but I've really, really tried and only once in a while does it work.

Hmph. Why must they always make them so you see the left image with your left eye, right with right? It is so much easier to *cross* your eyes and then refocus. So I can only see that one in reverse 3D... and it doesn't quite look right.
