How airing out pepperoni leads to a 17 year ban from Empress hotel

Nick Burchill sent a letter to Victoria's Fairmont Empress hotel apologizing for an incident 17 years ago. It involved a suitcase full of fresh pepperoni, a flock of seagulls, and a shoe. Happily, the hotel has since forgiven the hapless guest.
