Physics inside a microwave oven. I came across this informative link while looking up some physics information. I thought this short movie of a grape in a microwave was amazing. My microwave has never done anything as cool as this.

Step 2 of making Kraft Easy Mac is: microwave macaroni in water for 3-1/2 to 4 minutes. When you open the oven, you find that each little piece of macaroni is standing up straight, as if at attention!

someone in my dorm one night was too drunk to remember the 2nd step of making easy mac... standing outside at 4 am on a friday morning was not a fun college experience... i heard he got what he deserved from his hallmates...

If you put one of those silvery reflecto-browning thingys on a empty ceramic plate in an old microwave oven, the plate will shatter. Neat, huh? Silver stream, silvery scream Oooooh, impossible concentration.

I once microvaved easy mac without water too. Green smoke just poured out, until I smelled something, and looked at the microwave. The hall just stank for about 6 or seven doors down, and our room was awful.
