There’s what’s right and there’s what’s right and never the twain shall meet. Whistling man plays "Raising Arizona" theme on a banjo, is summarily criticized by a neighboring horse. (SLYT).

Seemed like something that could heal our divided nation.

The duck didn't seem to mind the performance. I take comfort in that, knowing that duck is out there, quacking and waddling for all us sinners.

Say, did you hear about the banjo player who walked into a bar with a big 'ol pile of shit in his hands and he says, "Look what I almost stepped in"?

I see a marketing opportunity for horse laxatives. Yes, I'm at work. No, my company does not have ready seed money for this unique venture.

I once rode a horse nicknamed Kaopectate, you do not want to get involved in horse laxatives.

For argument's sake: I think animals both domesticated and wild tend to defecate most freely when they feel at ease (with the obvious addendum that fight or flight response can also help the process along). I think it's pretty clear that this is a case of the former and not that latter.

Anecdotally: My band recorded an EP in the basement studio of a fellow who later credited us with curing his cat's constipation. In our case, it was not clear which mechanism was activated.

I wonder if the horse would have preferred the Ode to Joy portion of the Raising Arizona banjo suite.

That was seriously a really shitty review.

I missed the "whistling" part of the description and was excited to hear some full throated yodeling. So disapointed. YODEL FOR THE HORSE!

He anonymously bought the horse the banjo and that was the horse's response to his grand gesture.

Some sad news: the duck's a Nazi.

Carter Burwell has always been one of my favorites, I wish I could cover this on banjo! This was fun.
