In the midst of my flurry of album posts, I utterly neglected to observe that this past February, Madonna's seminal and utterly ground-shaking album Ray Of Light went into its 20th year of existence!. Let's listen to it again like it's the first time [1h8m]: Side One: Drowned World / Substitute For Love [video], Swim, Ray Of Light [video] posted by hippybear (3 comments total)

This post was deleted for the following reason: Previously which you posted; "this is a double of my own post, delete if you must" puts us in a kind of weird position. -- LobsterMitten

I know there's a giant previously that I posted. Delete this if you must.

It's hard to understand what current music would be like if Madonna had not put out this album. She single-handedly pulled dance music into the mainstream with this one release. Basically Avacii (rest his soul, literally) possibly would not have happened if this album didn't exist.
