Thrilled as I am to see the Lakers lose, semmi, oughtn't you contain your enthusiasm until you can post a link? And I wonder whether "This team won/lost a game," not even a series, is a proper post. This MetaTalk thread, even though it's about the World Cup, might be instructive.

I'm with you there, 10sball. The NBA has gotten incredibly boring while the NHL just gets more and more exciting. Both of these extremes are especially true at the end of a close game, when NBA games become free-throw contests but the NHL games rev up for some furious empty-net action. A real sport, indeed.
