A slice of some guy's brain David created animations based on an MRI of his brain. They look cool. That's all. Link courtesy of TimT

I'm assuming his head was clamped in place at his ears; if not, I hope the otoplasty is successful...

alumshubby - he said on the page that he was wearing foam ear protectors. MRIs are extremely loud.

That's pretty nifty. It kind of looks like it would be appopriate for a TOOL video.

This is .... Wow. This is really stunningly beautiful, actually, which I wasn't expecting it to be. Thanks for posting it, mecran01.

Nifty. Reminds me of my days archiving the articles at Diagnostic Imaging magazine, only the scan images are animated, and the content isn't completely beyond my comprehension.

This is kind of funny, because I made an animation based on an MRI of my brain a couple years ago. (Yes, this is a self-link, big freakin deal):

Wow, people still don't realize the self-link thing only applies to front page posts?

Anyway, that's a nifty series of animations... the MRI one you (ookamaka) linked looks neat, but the ones in the post give you a decent view of what the inside of his entire head looks like, in reasonable detail, which is cool.

this is pretty cool in a similar vein if people haven't seen it; it lets you to slice your own animation.
