Silly laws by state.Probably some of these are apocryphal, but they make fun reading anyway.

As a Rhode Islander, I always find this one fascinating: until the 1970's, there was a law on the books in Fall River that dated back to Colonial days making it legal to kill Rhode Islanders who came into Fall River. A man's lawyer used it in his trial for killing a Rhode Islander, and he nearly beat the rap.
