I love the variety in this trailer. There were at least a dozen games that made me go "ooh, I wanna play that!".

No matter what kind of proprietary streaming rent-but-never-own free-to-play lootbox nonsense the AAA studios keep threatening us with, stuff like this makes it really, really hard to be pessimistic about the future of video games.

There are a couple of games in that list that are difficult to claim as indie. Try and spot the odd ones out! Then imagine what the queues are going to be like.

One reason I hate the word "indie" these days, it's useless.

"indie-style" maybe. Like "homestyle" premade waffles.

But it ain't homemade and these ain't indie.

Oh, I get to play the real life version of "unpacking" soon. Unfortunately, it's a sequel to the considerably less fun games of "packing" and "moving".
