It... it's positive, overall, I suppose.

It's just that when I see phrases like "to find the new and ancient archetypal feminine power", alarm bells go off. I've seen words like this used so many times by men who came of age in the 60s and 70s, embraced a lot of New Age stuff, and then proceeded to put women on pedestals and do the whole goddess-worship thing, while at the same time still being slightly creepy and boundary-crossing in all kinds of ways.

In no way am I saying that this guy is one of those people; most of what he's saying seems respectful enough, and probably comes from a sincere place. It's just that these kinds of words aren't really helpful. Dude, women mostly just want to be treated like people, and this goddess-worship stuff is really just another kind of objectification, and isn't helping. I say this as another man who's trying to do the right things.

I am a woman and I am for giving men space to speak about what they are doing to help, but this isn't that. I don't want to be seen for my "true feminine power", I want to be seen as a human, and to have EQUITABLE rights and opportunity.

*sigh*

I mean I suppose I do appreciate the general sentiment? In the most general of ways? But as mentioned above, as soon as I hear this about the "new and ancient archetypal feminine power" :

The power that nurtures life, that builds community, that can tame the wilder excesses of masculine ego.

I am like NOPE nope nopeity nopeski. The idea that "femininity"'s job is to civilize/tame/train "masculinity" is a big part of the WHOLE PROBLEM. Tame your own fucking selves.
