It's nice to see a few non-Design patents thrown in there, function intellectual property as well as form.

Also, THAT LAMP. I kind of want to print that out and color it.

This is really great, but it's also funny that by my calculations, the Art Deco Pattern of the Week appeared in consecutive weeks exactly once in its history of 15 posts in four years, a pattern that will feel familiar to anyone who's ever blogged.

A couple of years ago I got really obsessed with figs in old patents - patent illustrators really seemed to like to find new and ornate ways to write the abbreviation "Fig." I'm glad to see that these art deco patents have suitably fancy figs!
