I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Western musical genres performed by people from non-Western cultures, which I think I've mentioned before -- I adore Mali blues and Japanese garage rock and Russian rock and roll (when I can get it). This is extremely my jam, thank you Hal Mumkin!

And if anyone else has: hey have you heard [x band from x culture or nation] they do [x Western genre] recommendations I would be just thrilled
