Yeeeesss! As Brain might say.

I can't begin to imagine how they got the real VAs to do this with them. Very cool.

(probably a contrived workplace accident involving a microwave oven and non-dairy powered creamer)

It was probably one day or a half-day's work for decent money and in the area where they already live. People don't realize, most of Hollywood is scraping by from gig to gig, literally a gig economy. Doing fun stuff like this which has a paycheck plus refers back to something you did that was popular and attached your human face to it is a pretty great gig, really.

Rob Paulsen's twitter feed had him saying that another friend introduced him to Scott from PMJ and saw a show and it rolled down from there. I started giggling the second I saw him and Maurice in the background.

If you love watching voice actors do real life things - Rob Paulsen hosts "Talkin' Toons" via Nerdist. Here's one of my favorites - Kevin Conroy (aka the only person who should be the voice of Batman - full stop) as Darth "Batman" from the end of Empire.

Nice. Are these folks connected to Creative Credenza aka cdza?

I'm a bit concerned - LaMarche is actually starting to look like Welles. Here he is in 1984, imitating Klingon Jim Ignatowski and in 2009 calling for International Talk Like Shatner Day. Sab-o-Taaaage!

It took me years before I realized that the Brain was using an Orson Welles voice.

If you called him up on the phone and asked nicely Rob Paulson would probably sing the Nations of the World song for you.

What? The best Bruce Wayne voice actor couldn't possibly do Batman.

That was fun. It's definitely a relief to realize I didn't remember all the lyrics to that song I listened to every day. One less piece of old crap I was carrying around.

And that's become so iconic that it's the latest iteration of the Dana Carvey/George H.W. Bush phenomenon--now people don't do an Orson Welles impression, they do a Maurice LaMarche impression.

I am a total sucker for cheap bar mitzvah jokes, so that was my favorite part. Such a delight!

Maurice LaMarche is the greatest Orson Welles impersonator I've ever heard. The second best is Andrew Kaempfer, in the episode "The Boy Who Cried Martian" (s01e06) of the radio drama anthology podcast Uncanny County.

The third best, of course, is Orson Welles.

Orson Welles never was the Orson Welles everyone thinks he was.
