This was really interesting! Thanks for posting, bq.

I particularly liked how the article contrasted the ebullience of the Copenhagen mayor with the realities of the national political climate. This is something that I think we're seeing around the world, where there is enthusiasm at the sub-national level and disinterest (or hostility) at the national level. A big part of the challenge for the future of Copenhagen and other cities will have to be working to change those hostilities.

Also, phew Copenhagen looks a bit grim even now with those beautiful--but deeply grey--wintery photographs.
