Google answers has been in beta since April. With hundreds of questions being posted daily what are your thoughts thus far? I've browsed around quite a bit, and it seems as though most of the questions are overpriced. Personal opinion inside ->

Here is the previous discussion on this topic from late April.

Personally I find it hard to believe that some people are inclined to pay 45$ to find out the addresses of foreign embassies in D.C. An Indian boy starving to death could get that info inside of 10 minutes and have 33.75 US to feed his family for a whole month! Ok, I know that's a little melodramatic, but I can't help but wonder what useful purpose this system can possibly serve.

If you earn $200 an hour, and it would take you 30 minutes to find the information, that's a $45 bargain.

lbergstr - Yes that is true, and I guess that's the main point of the system: to save ppl time. But if you're earning 200/hour wouldn't you have a secretary or maybe an assistant that could dig up this sort of info.

yeah, but who's to say you *won't* make the $200 if you spend your time searching for the info rather than staring into space or looking at porn.

plus if i'm making $200/hour i better have a damn personal assistance.

and a damn chair that tilts properly! who bought this half-assed chair? bring me his children!
