Danny is such an amazing rider and is a super nice guy to boot. His rapport with kids at live shows is great.

I had the opportunity to hang with him just a week ago, and he quite literally handed me a bottle and said "hold my beer" before shredding off to do something awesome on a bike. It was like living in a meme.

He looks like such a cool, and warm, friendly dude with the most awesome skills. And that little kid looks like she is learning a lot. Lucky Daisy.

100% he is going to get more flack for feeding *bread* to the ducks than for any risk to the toddler ;)

I need to show this to my (14 year old) daughter, who won't ride on a motorcycle with me, even just around the neighborhood.

Love all of his videos, they're all just about fun, joy and play. ... Also putting together something out of a lot of creativity plus perserverence and hard work too.

Favorite and most famous one is probably https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sv3xVOs7_No See some more of the behind the scenes stuff for that too.

I love the behind-the-scenes trick failures he has at the end of his videos - it's great to show my kid (who loves the videos) how he has to practice and keep trying over and over to get it right.

Wow, I didn't expect to get teary but the moment with him cheering her on as she rides her little pink bike through the bumps was adorable.

It is Good Dog, Carl! with Macaskill as Carl.

Danny's videos are always the best thing, and this one resonates especially well with a guy who used to race bicycles with his little niece, and hypothetically might have induced a bit too much competitive spirit, leading both of us to (again hypothetically) crash through some thorny rose bushes at the end of a driveway.

Said niece just graduated from college, so yes, that ending, seriously teary-eyed.

This was very awesome! (Thank you for the disclaimer up front.) (Do watch to the end.)

The little pink bike is an Islabike of course.

Too bad islabikes are over hyped trash. At great pains I sourced one for my son, and it was great for awhile, until he missed a curb hop and literally totaled the bike.

Isla who had left the US market, went full passive aggressive with their response, took no responsibility, offered no crash replacement, and after 3 weeks of back and forth without stating directly, they implied the bike was dangerous and a total loss. Pretty remarkable for a 40lb child.

Since I had no recourse with a UK company, I can only caution others when their brand comes up.

Awww man. I got a bit teary at the end when they were riding together. So sweet and encouraging.

vincentmeanie: They’re not mountain bikes, or stunt bikes for that matter, that’s certainly true. I wouldn’t expect my commuter bike to survive a badly executed curb hop either.

So cute! And Daisy was of course covered in the ice cream.

My parent-brain winced at that and, out of habit, wondered where the wet-wipes were.
