Life is Simple I'm not even going to pretend to understand this. On the other hand, I really like the styling, beyond the images.

Maybe this is the explanation.

"A pseudo Brazilian indian in Canada."
Ceremonial Chant. Then coming out of the dome a long list of pop artists.
Faith. Then scrolling along a list of various scientific branches.
etc.. etc.. etc...

Life was simple might have been a better name. Perhaps it's a rant on the evils modern society or something.

Right. The location is Vancouver. The first location (chant) is a view of BC Place, the stadium where the football team plays, also where you can see the names of the people scrolling. Location two (faith) is Science World--self-explanatory. Location three (walk) is the Sky Train, a mostly above ground monorail that extends thru the city. I think you get the idea. Or not. I think he's saying that despite the differences between cultures things are actually quite similar--we do the same things, just in different ways. Or maybe what Apoch said.

I miss my city.

Hm.. I think ashbury may be more correct than I was. Life is simple. We just have a lot more words for the same kind of thing.

The name xururu rings a bell... I know I saw the old site before, but I can't quite remember what it was.

This new version is interesting though.

one would think the comparison between native cultures and modern day could be done with a little more tact.

it's a little shallow.

i mean, the obsession with the "modern primitive" is, like, so over, man.

pretty, though.

I liked the font, the wingding thingee as the start link, the way the border resized between images and the way the eyes were the last thing remaining as each image faded to white in transition.
