I love that they're revelling in the silly pettiness of it and the escalation of commitment. I think it's adorable and funny.

It's made me laugh and provided some income to frame-sellers, shirt-printers, card-makers, and tattooists, so I'm okay with it!

I'm down with this.
The one upmanship and the tone of the two "best customers" and the staff is wonderful.
The tattoo, though, may have been a bit too far, but hey - it's her body and her money, so rock on.

Segundus: no, I don't think so. Just two silly people engaged in a silly rivalry, for the sake of naught but silliness.

It made me smile this morning, anyway.

If these bloody millennials would just stop spending all their dough on lattes, smashed avocado, framed posters, large-framed posters, data projectors, card printing, T-shirt printing and tattoos, they could afford to put a deposit on a house.

One.

For sharing.

The founder of Sensory Lab, Salvatore Malatesta, said that in his 25 years in hospitality, the rivalry was “the most exciting thing I’ve ever seen” – and no hoax. “When I first saw it, I thought it was two creative agencies setting each other up,” he told Guardian Australia.

I appreciate this man's very precise brand of skepticism.

Not just getting a tattoo - getting a tattoo that you have to take your shirt off to show, and in a spot that hurt like hell. She doesn't have other ink visible either, so this stands out even more.
