Arthur Anderson night in PortlandFrom the AP wire: The Portland Beavers, the Triple-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres, are sponsoring "Arthur Andersen Appreciation Night" to poke fun at the beleaguered accounting firm... Fans are encouraged to bring old documents to be destroyed at several "shredding stations" throughout the park. The team also will tuck away certificates for a game of "massive debt hide-and-go-seek." A similar story is in the Independent.

Maybe this will end the same way "Disco Demolition Night" did. We could only hope so...

Hahaha! This will happen a block from my apartment. I can't wait!

We also have an "Arthur Anderson" room in the School of Business building... They teach accounting classes in that room.
