Seems cool, although with the telecoms industry in the state it is I wouldn't expect to see it anytime soon, in fact I recall reading about a business trying to do this a while back (and I still haven't gotten my gigabit broadband)

Regardless of technology, people in the last-mile business are hurting, unless they're a whopping big cable company, telephone company, or ISP -- and often more than one.

This is really cool, but if I'm going to bet on last mile revolutions I'm going with wireless.
