American Utopia was one of the best damn shows I've ever seen, even if I had to sit in a theater chair the whole time.

Sometimes you don't know what you need until it's marching across a stage behind David Byrne. My first thought "oh man at least we still have him." Nowhere might be ok?

That was an incredible show, and he bested my considerable expectations and emotional investment. It would have been even better if he got the band back together for it, but... yeah.

Nice to be able to see faces on these clips. I couldn't do that from up in the rafters.

David is old, and can't hit the high notes anymore, just like me.
30 years down the road. Make me young again.

I had to stop everything else I was doing on my computer and just watch this. So pure.

David Byrne looks great. Also he now looks like some odd cross between David Lynch and Mr. Rogers.

The Roots are kind of like Hip Hop meets the Talking Heads, aren't they?

This show was so great. I smiled for 90 minutes straight. So joyful and such an antidote to current news, without being mindless and saccharine. David Byrne is fantastic.
