More friday fun games... In the last three days I killed way to much time on this little game. Being that friday seems to be the day to release links to flash stuff and games, I leave you with Marbles.

Fiendishly simple yet difficult.
I give this one a thumbs up.

But it would be more fitting today if they were coloured bunnies instead of marbles...

Yes I agree it would be more fitting if it were bunnies. But I have been sitting on this one all week, and then today when I saw the bunny posts, I thought, man it should be bunnies, but oh well.

The thrill of being told you've made it on to the high score list for the first time can only be equaled by the shame of learning that it's not the real high score list, and you've just spent fifteen minutes getting scores that the computer doesn't even consider worth recording, you loser.

I got a 258 (The game told me that was "Amazing").

I remember a few months ago I played this... I got like 420 or something in that area... i even took a screenshot. I was so proud.

Just figured out the strategy (make one GIANT link) and I ended up with a score of 378. Some of those all-time high scores (5000+) would suggest that they've cleared a screen entirely, more than once, and had a couple of 12+ links.

This plays *exactly* like Bubblet. In fact, it either is Bubblet, or as close to as makes no never mind... (Bubblet, btw, is available for PDAs. Google and enjoy...)

It's Monday at lunch, and I decided to give the game one more try. Lo and behold! A 27-marble link for 702 points!
Final score for that game, 784.

I am now retiring from the sport of Marbles, as I feel I can never possibly top that game. I expect my MeFi-Friday-Flash-Games Hall of Fame induction notification in 5 years time.

(I've mailed myself the .bmp of the 27-marble link, so if anyone wants verification, I'll mail it to them after work.)
