I can tell by the tags on this post that you are under the impression that these lovely gentlemen have accents but as someone who grew up a few hours North of Kelowna, I can assure you that they do not.

That's just what people sound like.

Everyone *else* has accents.

Counterpoint: the man said "mewce".

Pretty ingenious extrication effort though, right?

That's just the way she goes, eh?

That was lovely, thank you! Those gentlemen were stellar. Poor moosie, I’m glad she was all right in the end. I don’t blame them for being cautious at first though—moose are scary if you piss them off. They’re like an angry Volkswagen bus with legs.

“Yeah, in hindsight maybe we should’ve got someone to cradle the head. I was driving the bobcat though! Don’t blame me!” *laughs*

The step in which "after we got him tranquilized, we threw the chains on the bobcat" made far more sense once I realized that it was, rather, a Bobcat.

I still like the idea of an old-lady-who-swallowed-a-fly scenario being put into play. "And that's when we brought in the giraffe to help dig out the caribou..."

Sometimes a feel-good story is just what is needed, and this is about the feel-goodest of stories.

These guys should change their business name to "Guardian Landscapers."
