Hey, kids! Be the first one on your block to own one of these! Your very own fully-automatic gatling BB-gun!

Dear sweet bloody festering Christ, what in the hell...? I don't even know what to say to that. I think 3000 bb's at the rate of speed that thing fires them at would be more than lethal, although it's hard to tell without muzzle velocity stats...does anyone need a gatling-cannon BB-gun? (Apart from you, Baylink. :)

And before anyone thinks I think this should be illegal, I don't. I just think it's a mite warped. Of course, it's not like I'm the Czar of mental health or anything...

I bet the guy who made this thing had a lot of girlfriends in high school . . . .

All this just proves that gun control is pointless. I mean, had the fellow who executed those folks at Wendy's not had a conventional weapon, he would have used his gatling BB gun instead.

In all seriousness, this weapon is absolutely essential for keeping a "well regulated militia" - we gotta keep up with those godless communist reds.

Just remember, high speed automatic BB guns don't kill people, people kill people.

I am very impressed. Think of the skill needed to design and build such a thing. I am certain it can be lethal, but so can my car. What does his high school girlfriend tally have to do with anything, and what is the appropriate number. I hope I had enough to be cool. It is very unfair to in anyway associate this man with the Wendy's murderers. From what I read, he probably could have pulled off building the mini-gun he wants, but in not allowed to own. Sounds pretty law abiding to me. Gun control cliches have little to do with this situation, he built it for the same reason than most of us do anything, because we can.

You're right - I stand corrected. It's a work of art and beauty created by a man with a vision.

I suppose we should all be grateful that he decided not to build the minigun he "could have".

I'm being an asshole - I know what you're getting at 13. It's just that I can't understand what motivates people to build weapons (be they air powered or otherwise) that serve no other purpose than to inflict harm on another human being. Granted, this guy probably isn't going to go out on a rampage, but the sentiment to build a weapon is still there. That, perhaps more than anything else, freaks me out.

Oh... it's *cool*.

Just the thing for putting lots of holes in big, heavy gauge pieces of paper, really quickly. :-)

Or hunting for lemmings, I suppose?

But seriously; it's just a neat piece of engineering.

To whom it may concern

This is strictly a recreational piece of equipment. I enjoy the sound this gun makes as the barrels come up to speed and start throwing numerous projectiles down range. And this is the cheapest way I know how. After all ,one can buy 6000 rnds of bbs for $4.00. and the pneumatic minigun was the hardware of choice .This is not classified as a weapon to inflict harm or pain on someone.and I would discourage anyone to never let that cross your mind. Anything can be classified as a weapon if it is used in such manner to inflict harm on another.where does one draw the line as a recreation piece of equipment or a weapon?A paintball gun was designed as a recreational piece ,but one could fill the hopper with small jaw breakers instead of painballs and have a weapon. a baseball bat, is used for knocking a ball down the field, and is now employed in a modifed version by law enforcement to bring criminal into subjection. It all boils down to this, what is ones intent and purpose when using resources at hand.
