What do “Gregory Hood" and “James Kirkpatrick" have in common? They're some of the many pen-names used by white nationalist, anti-immigration VDARE contributor Kevin DeAnna as he formulated the playbook on how the emerging alt-right would interact, shape, and control conservative institutions. So they're describing the standard recruitment and hiring process for places like Fox news? Saying the far right has "infiltrated" conservative media sounds kinda like saying gun nuts have infiltrated the NRA. It's been pretty much baked in from the start, now they're just dropping some of the euphemisms.

That was my immediate reaction, too. The euphemism-dropping is leading to things like public figures saying "what's wrong with white supremacy?" out loud.
