"Binge Watching" is a sci-fi short film by Nigerian-British filmmaker Nosa Igbinedion which was recently screened on DUST (previously). "In the near future, a woman comes across a VR film where she will experience a tense encounter with a pair of policemen… through the eyes of a black man." (possible trigger warning as it depicts an assault from the victim's POV.)

Nosa Igbinedion was assaulted by 3 police officers over a decade ago. He wrote the script for "Binge Watching" 2 years ago and shot the film a year ago.

Another one of his short films was also recently shown on DUST: "U ME I"

As a filmmaker, his interests include Afro-futurism, spirituality and politics. He also created a fantasy series in a superhero universe based on ancient African deities: Yemoja: Rise of the Orisha. The first three episodes are on his Youtube channel.

That was really well done and goes straight to the point about white consumption of black suffering as an occasional diversion. Thanks for posting.
