Oh my goodness gracious! How clumsy of me. Reading is more dangerous than I thought. Oh no… What about my precious kitties! Stuck in this apartment , how will they survive? I must get the front door open so they can run free!
In the little point-and-click browser game Six Cats Under, you must resolve your unfinished business on this plane by helping Frederick, Mr. Spock, Baroness, Pumpkin, Ponyo, Clancy, Pickle, Geoffrey, Edgar, Sniffles, Rufus, and Deborah escape your home.
By Miles Äijälä, Robin Swift, Tomas Beržinskas, and Alex Martin.

That was super cute! Once you get things moving, it goes quickly.

Very nice. And short once you figure out the mechanics. Thanks for sharing this.

just like in real life, my cats will never go where intended.

I agree it's cute. I must be having a slow brain day because I am not breaking the code, though I've gotten a few cats to do various things, like watch TV and play with toilet paper. I can also feed the fish. Waiting for my breakthrough.

I felt a little bad scaring Geoffrey so many times until I figured it out.

Ha! Spooked Geoffrey. Off to the races now.

It took me way too many tries, but I did it! Very cute, thanks for sharing.

I had to watch the walkthrough video linked in the comments to get past Fill Sink With Water. Why am I so bad at video games? I've been playing them since I was five!

That's where I'm stuck.

My family has long—like thirty years long—enjoyed playing puzzle games like this together, and I might suggest this as a fun diversion for us this evening. We find that what one person can't see can be obvious to other people.

I was also stuck here! And then a wiser person than I pointed out the solution. You can do it!

Same, and escape room games are my jam. Sometimes you just hit a wall.

(That sounds like a hint. It is not a hint. Just commiseration.)

I was hoping there was some kind of cheat option where you just get the cats to eat your dead body until someone comes to see why they haven't heard from grandma in a few days...

Nah. If they eat the body the smell will be poop smell. If they leave the body alone... well then...

Nevermind.

I fucking hate puzzle games. I've never been able to even to first base on any of the goddamn things. Why do I continue to torture myself? Because the word "game" sounds like it would be something fun. I'd like to have some fun, but nooo, it's just another device designed to make me feel stupid. Never again!

Nice game, though it clearly is heavily influenced by the excellent Nintendo DS game Ghost Trick.

So sweet... but also so grim, even morbid.

Anybody else get babelfish-dispenser vibes?
(Fortunately, this game doesn't put the player into an unwinnable state. Now if I could only turn off the music without silencing the sound effects...)

It's hard to pick a highlight of this game, but the audio loop of the British woman banging on about cake may just be it.
