I don’t speak Polish, but the conceit of the song—meeting the Devil in a forest and engaging in a contest of music, which is then immediately forgotten—was always extremely Eastern European IMO

I wish I could clearly hear the lyrics and my Polish wasn't so rusty... because there seems to be a vague mapping of the content of the original but with meeting a devil, but then more about drinking vodka and less about playing a rock song? (which is also extremely Eastern European)
