My strongest association with The King’s Singers is all of the old EMI albums my parents has around, so seeing them dressed like this is kind of amazing.

Man I love a countertenor.
Boy, I don't love countertenors, I almost always prefer a richer, freer, ringing sound of a tenor or female singer. But I do find something special in Alfred Deller's earlier recordings, especially of this song, not because he is better in those respects than other countertenors, just that I find the voice and the natural interpretation far more expressive than most.
