Is Bald really better? Bald R Us is a website dedicated to those who celebrate their baldness (as opposed to shelling out money for Rogaine or Propecia). They esteem women who like their men bald. (Does hair really matter?) They share Hairy Horror Stories , give romantic tips (for the hairless), and allow viewers to ask questions to the Bald Guy. Their motto: "God made a few perfect heads and on the rest He put hair."

"Grass doesn't grow on a busy street." My favorite quote about baldness pride. In general I've found that many women who say "hair doesn't matter" are lying through their teeth, as evidenced by every cruel comment I've ever heard from girls about my bald friends. Ladies, you aren't fooling anyone.

I always had a thing for goth boys with long pretty hair. /me hangs her head in shame. I've since switched over from femmeboys to guys who either keep their hair buzzed, and/or have little hair to begin with. *and* hairy backs. It's like this switch in my brain... and elsewhere decided "testosterone gooood..."

Is Bald really better? Depends on your perspective, but I've found that baldness does not necessarily equate with virility. I'll stop there lest I give out too much info, but how much do you really know about hair loss?

I was horrified at first, but this was the era when Michael Stipe of REM shaved his head bald, so I bravely took the Gilette to what hair remained on my head, and have been doing it ever since. It was nice to not have to wear the knit cap 24/7 anymore.

I think bald men have definitely lost most of the social stigma they used to have. Moby and Vin Diesel, to name my two personal favorites. And yes, Patrick Stewart had a good thing going for him, as well. I've also heard Mr. Kingsley mentioned as a member of the "sexy older men" club.

And what about the man that made bald sexy in the first place: Yul Brynner? Meee-ow! My husband's bald as a ping pong ball, and in my esteemed opinion, a babe. And the first crush I had on someone who was more man than boy was this guy, shaved head, goatee, and a motorcycle. In fact, now that I go back in the annals of boy-history, I find a fair share of hunky shaved-bald boys in my past.

Ditto I don't have a real problem with being mostly bald but, if we are completely honest, are there any baldies who, given the choice, would take baldness over a full head of hair? There is a big difference between voluntary baldness by shaving and being forced into it, imho.

I am attracted to bald or balding men. Why? They look sexy, AND, (although I can't scientifically prove it) they tend to have hairy chests, which I *love*. BTW, how many heterosexual men out there say that they prefer women with long hair? I have short hair and can't tell you how many times I have heard that one.
