Something peachy this way comes: Dope Lemon's 2019 Give Me Honey is a nice vibe and odd, initially tense, but ultimately feelgood video, apparently an homage to The Knife's mesmerizing, lo-fi Pass This On, 2003. (Wikipedia: Dope Lemon, AKA Australian folk singer-songwriter Angus Stone; Swedish electronic music brother-sister duo The Knife. Stone has also performed in a sibling duo as Angus & Julia Stone)

And for another quirky, fun Dope Lemon groove, Something Furry This Way Comes in Hey You.

I have the feeling that this sort of initially potentially menacing and/or culture clash rumble, but then no, hey-just-folks vibing together musical detente must be an actual trope in music videos (see Genuwine's Pony, for instance), but I'm not immediately thinking of other good examples.

It had been a while since I'd heard anything new from Angus & Julia Stone. This fills that missing spot in my rotation nicely!

Something about that track from The Knife sounded familiar… sure enough, Karin and Olof Dreijer make an appearance on a track in Röyksopp’s second album, The Understanding. Track is “What Else Is There”. Thanks for the tip, time to do some digging on these artists!

Karin also perform as Fever Ray, so you may recognize her voice and the style from that project as well.
