I...I...uhh...

I can't think of anything to say about this.

What have I become?

Not listening? You're a balloon now. Oh, you mean, how are you still managing to exist as two thin sheets of latex separated by some air? How are you able to talk, move around, squirt various fluids?

There has never been anything like what I have become....

Except a balloon. That's kind of like it.

Its like taking Doug Winger art to the next, tamer level!

I shan't give you a link for the works of the auteur Winger... but you can easily find some of his artwork with a simple google search. Beware, it is not worksafe at all and may give nightmares to the faint of heart. Overly (and I mean OVERLY) endowed hermaphrodite furry characters doing the kinds of things overly endowed hermaphrodite furry characters do.

Not my thing at all, but it seems to be a weapon of choice of bulletin-board trolls around the Web. Nothing says "I r0xx0r j00!" like overly endowed hermaphrodite furry characters.

What a wonderful phrase. Overly endowed hermaphrodite furry characters. The phrase that keeps on giving.

Well, I'd known about furries... and I'd known about body-inflation fetishes... but I'd never considered hybridizing the two.

The Internet never ceases to amaze me.

Apparently this will have to be revised.

Ye Gods, I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around this one. Makes me wonder what other weird-ass geek splicing is out there.

When I was a child I had a fever.
My hands felt just like two balloons.
Now I've got that feeling once again.
I can't explain, you would not understand.
This is not how I am.

I wouldn't have clicked if I hadn't misread the crucial word as balloonists for a split-second. Luckily, everyone else here went home early ages ago.

Humans never cease to amaze.

And it's not like this is some casual joke site. It's chock full of well rendered cartoons. Like this one of floating raccoons.

Yes, what else is out there? This really boggles my mind. Maybe the gene for the ability/desire to draw furry animal comics associates with this peculiar kink on the reproductive urge. Or something like that...

via the disinfo link, i found an interesting article from Marie Claire reproduced here about furries.

I'm boggled. Is there any limit to the mutations and permutations of human sexual desire and behaviour? Apparently not...

'I think that people who can't connect with their animal side are totally cut off from themselves' -- Laurie Mau, 29

However, she is eager to offer evidence of her leonine qualities. 'The other day Bryon was sick,' she says, 'and as I walked out of the door to go and buy food I heard myself saying, "The mate is down, I have to go and hunt."

Er, say what? I should think the one who doesn't want to be human is the one who's cut off from themself.

'Imagine yourself in the body of a Siamese cat with her luminous eyes, soft fur and great agility. You can imagine it or you can step into that reality. You could buy stretch fur, turn it into any animal you want and have sex in it.'

Think she's ever seen cats having sex? Ugh. Not pretty.

Furries, bad. Fursuiters, worse. But plushies bother me the most.

BTW, DO NOT follow tittergrrl's suggestion of looking at Doug Winger's art.

Seriously. You will be sorry.

Doug Winger's artwork is like taking a trip to the freakiest theme park with the most *ahem*ed up mascots in the world, and no rides.

It seriously boggles the mind.

Okay! I'll be deleting my cache now, thanks!

(As soon as Down10 said "don't do it" I had to do it.)

To disturb you even further, Winger's got pix on the Balloonies site. I checked a few at random. Eek. The "Horzy" series is seriously sick. Beyond belief.

I just looked at some of Winger's illustrations. I can't even tell what half of them are intended to be drawings of.

Or for that matter, who is doing what with what and to whom.
