Not for sale at any price. A UK businessman has just turned down millions for the e-buy.com domain name and trademarks. Not sure I'd be able to resist an offer like that.

Though he does claim to be able to make more from running the business himself.
Doesn't this just give hope to all the squatters out there though, especially considering they upped the offer the first time he said no?

It doesn't really matter to him. He gives his business a shot, doesn't work? ok, sell it for 20 mil the next year. whatever. If it works, well, he keeps the domain and makes money.

Looks like a nice guarantee. I have no problem with cybersquatting as long as it doesn't involve fucking over a trademark owner.

I can't believe a domain name with a hyphen could be worth that much.

Me: "There's this amazing site. You have to check it out"

Friend: "What's the URL?"

Me: "e 'hyphen' buy 'dot' com"

Hmm: e-hyphen-buy-dot-com maybe doesn't sound all that hot. But e-dash-buy-dot-com. That's got a ring to it!
