This post was deleted for the following reason: Transphobic content in website -- loup

I've never heard of this site before but gosh there are a lot of stories on its homepage about trans people destroying society!!

Wooooooooooooooooooooow.

That entire website is just a steaming pile of thinly disguised transphobia with several added dashes of homophobia and sexism and by dashes I mean like they just hid those particular giant turds a little better than their not at all hidden transphobia.

I think we can safely discard the entire enterprise.

There's plenty of racism too. I'm not even an instagram knitter but my mom is so I've paid attention to what's going on. The author uses the word "realityland" to say that's where he is in relation to black knitter and yarn manufacturers standing up to racism. The author uses the term "strident ani-racists" as a bad thing. Idk wtf this is but it's very incorrect and bad.

Obviously my skimming of the article is missing something. I see blogs, vlogs, Instagram mentioned, but I don't see any particular website singled out. theodolite, FritoKAL, what website is this you are talking about that I apparently missed? Maybe it is the Instagram site (I don't do Instagram).

Eye of newt, the entire unherd website is a turd. If you click through, you can see a number of articles on how gender confusion is destroying feminism.

Oh, you are talking about the article website itself. I understand now.

I kind of knew where this was going, despite the weak attempt at both-sidesing towards the beginning, so when I got to the part where he used James Lindsay as a reference, I was unsurprised, and ready to check out anyway.

Regards unherd.com - now that you bring it up I recall that my Brexit-y Mum kept bringing it up last time she visited, sigh, so yeah... the link was just from hacker news, figured the MeFites would have some good takes on the article itself though which just discusses the Radio 4 piece.
