Wish they'd included The Blues Brothers just for the delivery of this line.

I hate these compilations where they don't even tell you what movies they got the clips from.

Thank you a car full of lions!

I came for Hot Tub Time Machine, none of the others comes close to dislodging that as the greatest movie title drop ever.

tangentially related and maybe even older: Of Oz The Wizard: The complete Wizard of Oz, re-edited so that all of the spoken words are arranged alphabetically.

(and @wanderingmind they do include captions of the word being spoken, some of them fly by quickly.)

In my friend group, every time this happens someone has to say, "Just like the title of this cartoon!"

I was with my housemates watching Face/Off one evening back when it was first released on DVD - a few beers and whatnot in:
Sean Archer: l'd like to take his... his face... off. Yes. Now, if you'll excuse me, l have to use the little boy's wee-wee room.

Dietrich: Cas...

Dietrich: You wanna take his... face...

Sean Archer: [smiles widely] Yes. His face... off. Eyes...nose. Skin. lt's coming off.

Dietrich: The face... off.

I turned to my friends - jokingly - and asked "So what's the name of this film again?"

Neither could remember.

Penn Jillette has suggested that it is good manners to applaud politely when the title of the movie appears in the dialogue of the movie. I have taken this to heart; mostly this works okay but I gotta say that watching It a few years ago was really a trial, for me and the others in the theatre. Or at least, so I glean from the angry glares and threats to my person.

This movie was so bad but I laugh at this every time

Con: I watched this even though I thought it was stupid from the moment I saw it when the movie came out.

Pro: Hey, I can see my house!

Mindlessly scrolling through a list of films from 1977, and this caught my eye:
The movie gets a thumbs-up since quirky (Jeff) Lieberman directs. You know you are entering Lieberman’s world when the very movie title is spoken by his parrot.

I remember an interview with Paul Thomas Anderson who told about a friend of his who, when watching a movie at the theater, would loudly squawk like a chicken whenever a character would say the title of the movie. Sometimes this would happen many times throughout the movie.
