Alas, I never knew I was a "sheep" being controlled by the media and government, imprisoned in a "plastic hell." My dear sir, your words are sweet to the ear and has charmed me to join your cause. No matter what it may seem, Metafilter is not your personal opinion journal. Sorry to be so harsh, but this problem needs to be curtailed. And it's not just because I find the political sensibilities expressed in your post to be odious, sophmoric and stupid. I would say the same thing to a pointless, divisive front page rant posted by someone who shares my political sensibilities as well. This just ain't the place for it.
