Do you feel a little lighter when you go to visit your Aunt Betty in Poughkeepsie? Maybe this gravity map can shed a little light on the subject.

Might be considered an update to last year's thread.

Interesting that Sri Lanka and the tip of India appear to best the lowest-gravity points in the world.

I wish there was a .jpg in addition to the animated video file.

Now, why didn't that come up when I searched for it?

Whew. I thought I had gained a few pounds, but maybe it's just the gravitational field near my scale. I wonder if this map would help me find someplace to move where I could be assured a favorable reading. I would prefer not to have to move too far.

I searched for "gravity" "in the last year". Plus I remembered having posted it, which helps.

Yes, NedKoppel, you have to remember to switch the pulldown from "in the past month" to "in the past year" when you're searching the archives.

I was thwarted when I attempted to have the default changed to the latter in a recent MetaTalk thread. Apparently it's bad for bandwidth to have everybody searching from day one all the time. Fair enough.
