it was funny as fugly.com, but the stolen mugshots aren't very funny outside of that site.

Not to mention Cam found the same page about 2 weeks ago.... Wasn't even funny the first time I read it.

Real cool Jay. You're a class act.

Whaaa... sorry I have a life, and don't spend every waking minute reading each and every link posted here. There are bound to be repeats. If you didn't like it, then don't comment...

simple as that...

If you didn't like it, then don't comment...

If you can't take criticism, don't "toot your own horn" on MetaFilter.

It was a joke asshole. Not really my page... I was poking fun at myself in the first place.

not so much MF, just that its been on the web FOREVER. and you dont have to make up fibs and say you have a life just because youre the last to see something =)

da5id,

In the last few days, you have seriously brought down the property value around here by:
  • making light of human tragedy, (posting pictures of mangled cadavers)
  • oblique hyperlinks, (making light of said cadavers without the least concern for more squeamish viewers nor the slightest warning as to what lies ahead.) and
  • now, you're making personal and vulgar attacks on other members of MF.
I really object to you calling people who disagree with you "assholes." Your comment was rude, quite out of line, and I believe an apology is in order.

Failing that, if I may quote Bryan Boyer, "Why don't you quit while you're ahead... erm... I mean while you're only slightly behind."

Well, that is what free speech is all about... you can object all you want... doesn't mean you get what you want.
I'm sorry, but I don't hold any sympathy for SUICIDE bombers, so I will joke about them all I want.

I do apoligize for no warning, and the oblique link, and that will not happen again, but I will not apologize for defending myself against what I perceive are attacks.

All someone had to do, was say "That link has been up once or twice before." and then drop the matter, but no... People have be critical and criticize every little mistake someone else makes. Criticism is one thing, being a jerk is another.

Very funny! I've never seen it before, but I deed see some people from the trailerpark in the Jerry Springer Show.

I don't like personal attacks either.

I can understand ratbastard's constructive discussion and applaud it. Perhaps some of the shock value posting on MeFi would be better suited to a blog - why don't you start your own da5id?

I have a hybrid site already which supports my shock value material. Baefed.com is a hybrid "blog - E/N" site. I had plans for my own blog, but right now am a little disenchanted with the internet as a whole.

I realize and understand that I made a mistake with the picture, I guess my main intention was my "shock" at seeing a picture such as that on a "major" internet news site. You don't see stuff like that on CNN. But everyone was correct in that I should have had a warning in the post, and I apologize for the lack of a warning, and the obliqueness of that post overall. Neither will happen again from me.

Oh, don't bother with going to Baefed, we are currently down for redesign :-P
