An interesting take on Boggle. Very similar to a Mac OS X game: Nomia.

The game is a neat idea, but gets painfully dull after about 5 or 10 minutes. There's just no fear of losing, and therefore no sense of accomplishment if you do anything right. You just take as long as you want, and end up clicking random combinations hoping that tret is a word. All the cool kids play atomic poker, anyway.

Ooh, I love this. Reminds me of my bitch about Scrabble...we used to play the PC version against a friend in California, but then the game company refused to do a version for NT. Way not to keep up with the times.

PopCap owns my free time. I think a two player version of this game could work (ie. Super Bust-a-Move style)

PopCap make some fun and nice-looking games. I was in the thrall of Dynomite for awhile a few months ago. Just started playing Bookworm the other day and it's a time gobbler. My biggest quibble with it is that you can't spell nine-letter words! I could have had "bracketed" but ooooh no, I had to settle for "bracket". Feh. GaelFC: If you're looking to play Scrabble online, check out Literati at Yahoo! Games. It's pretty much an exact clone.

You wait till you've got three columns of consonants, and a burning Z. Then you just click on the worm and he re-scrambles everything for you at the cost of a couple more burning letters. I like the idea of the game. It just takes too long for the burning letters to matter.

You got to look for the "assignment" words - keeps it interesting and tough to play. Still, it crashes after 7 letter words... but I've lost my soul too!

surprisingly, it will also accept some no-no words that I wouldn't think it would. And I've been snagged on a couple unacceptable but perfectly valid 9-letter words, too. And the lack of time-limit that Gary laments is actually a good thing. I can keep the same game going while I do actual work in other windows for a few minutes, and it's waiting for me like a faithful puppy... I wuv bookworm...

i was rather shocked that it would take "pee", but not "poo". and it's really hard to shock someone with a vocabulary as adolescent as mine. other than that, fun game, albeit a mite slow.

Is there any rank higher than "MASTER LIBRARIAN"? I got that at 172,810 points (longest word GLAMOURS)... but I hear that at 200,000 points you are "ARCHIVIST." if this is true I've got a lot more time to kill.

242230 points on my first go before I got really, really bored and tried to get as many fire tiles as possible - 10 or so. Highest scoring word was Dato with 3840, clicked by accident.. Hur. Takes faar to long though not a bad game..

I showed this game to my wife when the baseball game was on at 8:30pm. She finally ended up losing at 12:30am. Her final score was 400,560. I'm not sure what level (the last one I saw her pass was 12th) or what title she achieved. She's hooked though, and can't wait to get home and play again tonight. Thank you Crunchland, for guaranteeing me a chance to watch the baseball playoffs!

1,023,470. Rank: Lexographer. Getting the bonus words speeds things up a little, but they max out at 50k points. I was hoping the score would flip over at a million, but no, the numbers just squeeze together tighter. Curiosity satisfied.

It doesn't work properly for me in OS X. In IE, it seems to not accept most of the clicks for submitting words -- sometimes they work and other times it just deletes the letters and resets. And it crashes Mozilla instantly, so i can't try it there. This is probably a good thing, as this could be a major time suck. Still, I'd like to try it...
