Sinead enters the competition for this year's Donea Memorial Ambiguous Orientation Award.
I can't help it. I just love her. I think she's cooler than hell, and I love her music. Which is bizarre, because the only other band I like that much is Ministry.
Apples and Oranges, I guess.
Anyway, good for her on the Priesthood thing. I say screw the Pope. That hat doesn't impress me like it used to.

Whatever she does or say, as I stated a few days ago on one of my own blogs. She's partly confused and partly in the business of making press for herself - and she likes creating controversy so she can be a martyr. I don't care, as long as she sings. Unfortunately, the music on her new album Faith and Courage is a bit bland. The voice, however, is still pure as the driven snow. I've great respect for her. I hope herself and John (Waters, journalist, father of Roisin) can work out some kind of stability for the child.

She was always much more of a poseur than she needed to be. Very frustrating, some of her early work was exquisite, yet she didn't realize how fine the self-parody line was.
