i dont find it that shocking or horrible to have kids work w/ drug formulas.

in my seventh grade science class we were told to bring in wine or beer from which we set up 'stills' & made 'moonshine'.

in my ninth grade science class we all had to cut ourselves open to do shit w/ our blood -- type it & stuff.

I don't think it's horrible, I just think you have to be aware in our current All drugs not approved by some shadowy bureaucracy are the devil's lobsters paranoid times not to get caught doing things like this. Bad or horrible or immoral, no, but stupid. You can't trust people anymore, so you have to assume they'll be coming after you for stuff like making GHB. It's the tenor of the times and all that.

They weren't making GHB.

He didn't give them the recipe. All he asked them to do was answer questions on a test.

I like teachers who try to involve students in a meaningful way. Teachers who want me to think. I like this teacher. Rock on dude.

The funniest line:

The exam was last month, but the controversy only arose recently after it came to the attention of the news media.

We don't report the news, we make it.
