Remember Brendan Thompson, the little boy with terminal cancer whose neighborhood put together an early Halloween so he could trick-or-treat? Well, he lost his battle on Thursday morning, but it sounds like his last month was a good one. (scroll to second story)

Profoundy moving story.

Brendan Thompsons surround us -- for none foresee the last day, or week, or month of any. Would that we could treat each other as kindly...and be so moved by each loss.

I'm ruined forever by Kaycee. I can't see a story like that without presuming I'm being snookered.
