The DMCA isn't the only Dumb Law. So may Strange Laws, even Sex Laws. There's many fun Obsolete Laws still on the books.
The list Goes On and On.
Not sure what laws to follow, try A Law Librarian, or, better yet, WWJD?

Oooh, a debate about Levitical Law on MetaFilter. My mouth is watering. Maybe Leviticus 19:19 could be construed as a warning against cloning animals and vegetables?

Having a large number of obsolete laws on the books increases the chance that, if the state wants to arrest you for any reason (legitimate or not), it will be able to find an excuse.

I wish just one of these stupid law pages would link to or precisely cite the original sources. I am suspicious that many of these "laws" are simply copied from previous lists and may have originally been made up for humorous effect. I also suspect that some laws may be misconstrued. Anyone have a well-researched list of obsolete laws? (No offense intended, Blake.)

I think it imperative that we defy the logic of these sex laws.
