Atheist Boy Scout Must Declare Belief ... or Leave I'm not sure why this story in particular is making the news; it's not as if there haven't been a ton others like it. Nevertheless, I'm posting for a personal reason: I was an Eagle Scout, but in college I became an atheist. I stopped paying my dues, but I still look fondly on my time in the Scouts. So, I'm struck by this story - not sure what I'd do if I were this kid. Any other apostate Scouts out there?
