Journey's with George is on HBO tonight. (follow up to this thread) Anyone watch? I'm finding it interesting and supposedly the Republicans think it can single handedly get him reelected by making people like him shudder outisde of his politics what do you think can you like a man who's politics you abhor?

Yeah, I watched it.
All I can say is that the man didn't need to scare me anymore than he already has as a leader.

But he did. This should have aired on All Hallow's Eve.
The only redeeming (endearing, positive, whatever) thing he did during the whole hour and a half was where he approaches Alexandra (director, etc.) after the unofficial poll was leaked to Page 6 of the Post.

That was a very cool move, though notably, it wasn't caught on film. That alone would've melted the hearts of enough people who would've otherwise voted him the hell out of the office he never should've laid claws on in the first place...

But good viewing, and I recommend it to all, if for no other reason, than to refresh their memory of how goddamn innocent we seemed to be then.

Note the seriously wrong prediction by Karen Hughes' husband towards the end. It turned my stomach, being a resident of NYC, thinking of how things were vs. his prediction of how we, specifically would be should W get elected.
