'Moon Trees' are the trees grown from seeds taken aboard Apollo 14 by astronaut Stuart Roosa. The 500 or so seeds orbited the moon 34 times before their return to Earth. No one tracked the subsequent distribution of the seeds, but NASA scientist Dave Williams is attempting to hunt them down. So far some 44 have been traced. Have you seen a moon tree?

Very nice post, nthdegx, but let me be the one to gently tell you I think it has been posted several times before. Take heart and post again, though!

Many apologies.
